Blow Molding

Blow Molding is a manufacturing process in where hollow plastic containers are formed. Large quantities are easily produced using this technical process. The blow molding process uses low air pressure to blow soft plastic into a custom mold thus creating the product. The process starts by melting the raw material into a parison.

A parison is a tube of plastic with one open end which the compressed air passes. The parison is clamped into a mold where the air pressure is applied to form the plastic container. The plastic is then cooled and once it is hardened, it is ejected and pushed out.
