We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the ongoing dock strike, which began on October 1st. As you know, this strike has significantly impacted shipping times and the availability of many imported goods.
Good News:
FH Packaging has been proactively preparing for this situation. Our warehouses are well-stocked with a variety of products, including those imported from overseas. We also have additional shipments en route to further strengthen our inventory.
Important Note:
While we have taken steps to mitigate the impact of the strike, it is impossible to predict its duration. Experts estimate that each day of the strike could result in a week-long delay for incoming shipments.
However, there is some positive news:
The Long Beach Port has recently announced that it has extra cargo capacity. This may help alleviate some of the congestion caused by the strike and potentially shorten shipping times.
Recommendation:
To ensure you have the packaging you need, we strongly
encourage you to place your orders as soon as possible. Inventory is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
